Reward boxes
Reward boxes - also called effort boxes, Live reward boxes, gohoubi boxes - are little chests that appear at the end of every Live you clear. Each box requires a certain amount of points to be opened, and for each Live you clear, that Live's Score will be added to the box's gauge, with certain modifiers depending on what you play: using x2, x3, x4 LP multiplier will affect your Live's Score towards the box, and playing on Random Select will grant an additional 50% Score bonus towards the box. Opening a box gives you various rewards. Your current box and its progress are shown above your Score on the Live results screen.
Two types of reward boxes exist: normal boxes, and special boxes. Normal boxes appear at the end of every Live, and once you fill one, you get another to fill automatically. Special boxes, also called eggs, only appear randomly after a Live clear. You can only have one box active at the same time, so if you get an egg, it will replace your current normal box. However, your progress is not lost and your normal box will return once you fill the egg.
Reward boxes are currently the only way to get School Idol Skills.
5 different types of normal boxes exist, each requiring a different amount of total Score to be opened:
Box | |||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Points required | 100 000 | 400 000 | 1 200 000 | 2 000 000 | 4 000 000 |
The last Score used to fill the box will mostly determine which box will be given next - for example, filling a 4m box with an effective Score of 1m will most likely give another 4m box, whereas filling a 4m box with an effective score of 200k will most likely give a lower box.
The 100k box gives 1 reward; the 400k box gives 2; and the 1.2m, 2m and 4m boxes all give 3 rewards.
Several rewards are available, and each box has different chances of giving out a specific reward. See the table below for which box can give out what.

Eggs were added on February 20th to JP and have a chance to contain exclusive, group or member-specific rewards.
After every Live, you have a (small) chance to obtain an egg. You will know when you get the following popup:
pictured: getting Nico 10m egg
The popup basically says you've found an egg, and asks whether you want to accept it or not. If you press Cancel, the egg will disappear and you'll keep normal boxes until you find another egg. If you press OK, your current normal box will be replaced by the egg (progress will not be lost) and any Scores you get will go towards the egg.

100 different eggs exist: 20 different kinds, one for each girl and each group, with 5 levels on each egg. Whose egg you'll get depends on several factors: your amount of favorite points with every girl (shown on your profile), the members in your team, as well as which girl is your partner.
pictured: having a Nico as partner and 40k favorite points more on Nico than anyone else is probably the reason why I've only gotten Nico eggs so far.
Member-specific eggs are the only way to get exclusive member-specific titles, backgrounds and School Idol Skills. Egg-exclusive School Idol Skills can also be obtained in any egg. The 6 group-specific titles can only be obtained from the respective group eggs. See the table below for all egg-exclusive rewards.
Each egg has 5 different levels, with different designs depending on the group. Each level requires a different amount of Total Score to be opened:

Loveca pieces
the amount of pieces required for 1 Loveca goes up with every exchange; you can find your current progress in your goals.
the goals reset at the beginning of every month, and your Loveca pieces will carry over, and automatically be converted if you have enough.
(e.g.: you end the month with 10/12 (goal 5) Loveca pieces; on the 1st of the next month, you will complete goals 1 and 2, and have 2/7 (goal 3) Loveca pieces left over.)
